JBoc924Dead Nation isn’t the only top-down zombie shooter to enjoy on the PlayStation Network. Konami also has one of their own, titled Zombie Apocalypse. You may have played that game, and if you have then you know that it offers one helluva good zombie-killin’ time. Well, you’re going to be pleased to know that the follow-up, Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone, is now available on the PlayStation Store for the price of $9.99.

Four unlikely heroes find themselves caught in a fight for their lives when the Zombie Apocalypse hits their Canadian community. Banding together for both humor and survival – and armed with everything from guns to cricket bats – the four must find a way off the island… together.

I never got a chance to purchase the first game but I did enjoy the hell out of the demo. Something about a top-down arcade shooter mixed with zombies is quite appealing to me. Yeah, Dead Nation may be the better game overall, but you owe it to yourself to check out both the original Zombie Apocalypse and Never Die Alone, especially if you’re a zombie lover.
