Your Shadows Of The Damned Pre-Order Will Come With The Soundtrack

While you mostly hear about Suda 51 and Shinji Mikami being the main figures behind EA’s upcoming romp through hell Shadows of the Damned, you’d be unwise to look past one other significant name involved.

Akira Yamaoka is also part of the equation that’s bringing us Garcia Hotspur and his crazy demon-infested exploits in the game, and as you would know if you’re a diehard Silent Hill fan, Yamaoko is taking care of music duties in the game. Now you have a chance to experience the game’s soundtrack for yourself, all you have to do is pre-order the title from one of the following retailers: Gamestop, EA Store and Amazon. The soundtrack also features tracks from English punk band The Damned. You can check out the press release for this announcement, as well as the full track listing below.

From iconic Japanese developers including executive director Suda51 (director of No More Heroes), creative producer Shinji Mikami (director of Resident Evil) and music composer Akira Yamaoka, Shadows of the Damned is heavily influenced by the Grindhouse style including projects from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriquez. Follow a demon hunter named Garcia Hotspur deep into a hyper-demented re-imagining of hell, where he must rescue Paula, the love of his life, by defeating the armies of darkness with the power of the light. From shocking and unique gameplay experiences that include over-the-top action and grandiose boss battles to demented puzzles with heart-pounding moments of psychotic imagery, Shadows of the Damned is sure to be one hell of a trip.
