It seems like it’s been a while since Dead Island was released, but it’s only been a month. Having said that, it indeed has been a, somewhat, long time waiting for fans anticipating something which was originally set for release close to the game’s launch. That “something” is the game’s Bloodbath Arena DLC which brings four new areas, weapons and transferable DLC into the mix– all for $10, or for the price of free for those who pre-ordered the game from GameStop.
So, now that it’s been a month since the game’s launch, it’s time for Deep Silver to finally commit to a firm release date and cease the delays that have unfortunately plagued this piece of DLC. Deep Silver has done just that– in what will hopefully be a launch window they stick with this time. Dead Island’s Bloodbath Arena DLC will be out in the digital wild mid-November. But why has this been such a long wait? Well, the developer is still trying to iron out some issues with the game in order “to make sure that every Dead Island fan will receive the best experience possible on every platform.”
