NIS America’s chibi horror series Yomawari has made the leap from PlayStation Vita and Steam to the Nintendo Switch today.
Yomawari: The Long Night Collection includes both Yomawari: Night Alone and Yomawari: Midnight Shadows, two games which cast a tiny little protagonist into a terrifying town filled with spirits and demons. The collection is available on the Nintendo eShop and at retail for $39.99. A Limited Edition is available exclusively from the NISA store for $54.99.
In our review of Yomawari: Night Alone, reviewer Rourke wrote “Beautiful world, art, and sound design, and an interesting story I wasn’t able to predict. But the gameplay has serious, serious flaws that keep it from really being any fun after a certain point. It’s a shame because I feel like it almost comes close to being the same kind of ambient, and genuinely frightening experience we got from something like Limbo…” If you’re interested in checking out the series for yourself, a two-pack ain’t a bad place to start.
