In celebration of Gamescom, Team Ninja has released a whole lot of art assets from the upcoming YAIBA: Ninja Gaiden Z. Art featuring protagonist Yaiba and a whole assortment of zombie flavors are shown off below. YAIBA: Ninja Gaiden Z will have several unique zombie types, most featuring their own attributes such as fire, electricity, and poison. The other types have unique methods to track or attack our man Yaiba and ninja self.
While I’m not expecting YAIBA to be an amazing title, I’m genuinely looking forward to it. It looks like goofy fun with a cool comic art style. Plus, a Ninja Gaiden game that makes fun of itself is very much needed. Those games can be so stuffy despite their ridiculous plots.
