XSEED Brings Bullet Witch to Xbox Live Games on Demand

I don’t think anyone expected to hear about the Xbox 360 game Bullet Witch in the year 2014, but XSEED Games apparently has been working to re-release it, and it’s now available on Xbox Live’s Games on Demand.

Originally released in 2007, Bullet Witch wasn’t exactly well received. With a Metacritic score of 55 and my own personal experience attempting to play it, I can’t say that it’s a title that I’d recommend for purchase.

I’m sure Bullet Witch has its own cult following due to some redeeming charm, so more power to those that enjoy it. Regardless, it’s hard not be a bit confused as to why this game has received a digital re-release six years after its initial release. Either way, it ain’t no thang.

Bullet Witch is being sold as a Games on Demand title for $19.99 over Xbox Live in both North and South America. $19.99 is a wee bit pricey considering the game can be found online for roughly half this price, but a digital release ensures that it will live a better life than a game left to rot in the budget bin at GameStop.

XSEED Games Launches BULLET WITCH through Games on Demand for Xbox 360

Stylish Third-Person Game Blends Third-person Shooting Action with Magic

Torrance, Calif., (May 13, 2014) –XSEED Games, the independent-minded console publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that the third-person shooting action title BULLET WITCH is now available for digital download in North and South America for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft through the Xbox Games Store Games on Demand service for $19.99 USD in North America. Previously released in 2007 in North America, BULLET WITCH adds magic casting to its third-person shooter mechanics to create a unique action experience.

The human race is almost extinct as hideous monsters and demons dominate the planet. Only the fusing of ancient spells and modern combat can beat these creatures, and Alicia, a highly-trained soldier versed in both, is up to the task. The fate of the human race is in her hands as she ventures into the world of monsters, battling them with a mix of magical arts and military equipment.

In BULLET WITCH, players guide the “witch” Alicia as she utilizes her deadly broom-like gun rod, which can transform into various weapons such as a shotgun, machine gun and Gatling gun while also allowing her to cast magic, to mow down waves of enemy demon hordes.
