Almost a year ago, in one of our many posts about greenlight approvals, we briefly addressed the gritty 3D-platformer Woolfe – The Red Hood Diaries. After not seeing it again for such a long time, I was surprised when the game suddenly appeared on Steam as an early access title.
In similar fashion to many American McGee’s works, the story is a dark re-imagining of a classic fairy-tale, as it follows a grown up Little Red Riding Hood who is out for revenge after her father died under mysterious circumstances. The game mixes combat, puzzles, and platforming together and based on the video below, I must say the game looks pretty cool for a $10 title.
The game was successfully Kickstarted back in September and is scheduled to release as a finished product on March 17th, 2015.
