Why is Silent Hill 4 not Included in the Silent Hill HD Collection?

In case you didn’t already know, the Silent Hill: HD Collection does not include Silent Hill 4: The Room.

The game includes the arguably more popular, Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, but many fans are left wondering – where’s the love for Silent Hill 4?

Spencer from Siliconera being the curious fellow he is, reached out to series producer Tomm Hulett to ask why.

We really wanted to focus on the [game] we knew fans cared the most about since we needed to put in the effort to put them in HD, redo the sound, and do all these things, we didn’t want to give them something we weren’t sure [they] wanted 100%

Well, we can understand it’s a money thing, but still.

If you’re a Silent Hill fan, you either love 2 or 3 the best. Here, you get both of them. Everyone’s happy. If they like the HD treatment, maybe there’s more in the future, but for now, that’s all we’re concentrating on.
