Saints Row went off the rails, I know. What was once a gang game about representing your crew in the mean streets of Steelport became a presidential superhero Matrix parody with Mass Effect romance options. And now Volition has taken the series even further by sending the lovable homicidal Gat, the boss’ number two member, to hell. Because why not?
Set for release next month, Gat out of Hell is a standalone expansion to Saints Row IV and will be a musical horror parody of sorts. In today’s video we’re given a look at the voice cast of the game performing some lines, looking happy as can be recording for another Saints game. Nolan North, Matthew Mercer, Natalie Lander, Daniel Dae Kim, Eden Riegel, and Dee Bradley Baker appear in the video, with Baker showing off his demon voice skills, scaring Steve Jaros, former Creative Director at Volition.
It’s all good fun and worth a watch. I’m hoping to enjoy Gat out of Hell when it drops on January 20th.
