The controversial survival game WarZ has returned to Steam after been removed from the service in late 2012. This time with the not-so-official Valve stamp of approval!
The studio responsible for the game, Hammerpoint Interactive, has become infamous for their handling of this title. When the game did finally arrive on the service, people quickly found out that it was filled to the brim with false advertisement and that the game itself relied heavily on micro-transactions. Naturally, this resulted in angry customers demanding their money back.
Whether or not this has all been resolved is unknown for now, but Valve has stated that: “Valve and Hammerpoint Interactive collaborated to address community feedback, update the Steam store page, and make the title available for purchase worldwide.”
Do you think this game will ever be forgiven for the disastrous launch? Do you think we should review it here on the website? Let us know in the comments!
