Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive debuted a new trailer today for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at Gamescom Opening Night Live.
The new trailer showcases stunning panning shots and includes quotes from press and influencers, highlighting the game’s strengths. It offers an in-depth exploration of the grim universe of Warhammer 40,000 ahead of the game’s release on September 9th.
Space Marine 2 invites players to embody the titular supersoldiers in all their brutality and glory across single-player, co-op, and competitive multiplayer modes. Take on horrors from beyond the stars as Warhammer 40,000’s galactic warfare descends on a single-star system. Combat is a grand spectacle combining fluid movement, lightning reflexes, humongous weaponry, and overwhelming power.
Players will take on foul swarms of alien creatures, otherworldly daemons, and corrupted traitors to the Imperium. Experienced a co-op campaign as Titus and his battle-brothers Chairon and Gadriel. You can engage in specific PvE missions and PvP battles. Both modes allow you to customize and upgrade six unique classes of Space Marines.
Standard and Gold Editions of the game are available to pre-order on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation stores, while the digital-only Ultra Edition gives fans another option and comes with the exclusive “Ultramarines Champion Pack” DLC. You can play up to four days early by pre-ordering the Gold or Ultra Edition.
