As of version 1.06, the zombie-themed strategy game Virus 14 has rebranded itself to Infect & Destroy. This was announced after the latest patch made drastic changes to the controls and feel of the gameplay.
In the game, players become the mastermind behind a zombie infection and must spread their disease across the world via a tactical map on which they maneuver their zombies. The game also features real-time battles in which players take direct control of their army and must fight it out against human soldiers and helpless survivors. The old title, while not bad, was not really attractive in my opinion and the new one is definitely a bit more accurate and memorable.
With Infect & Destroy becoming more refined and receiving frequent updates, now may be the best time to buy into this early access title.
