The story isn’t entirely over once you beat DmC Devil May Cry. After the credits roll, you’ll still have one more chapter of the story to play through, and it happens to star none other than Dante’s brother, Vergil.
Vergil’s Downfall will be post-launch DLC for the game, and it’ll tell the titular demon-slayer’s untold story. Vergil’s chapter will actually take players to new locations not seen in the main game, and they’ll also be using new weapons and combos to take on brand new enemies. No exact release date was given, but the DLC will be available “shortly after launch.”
Those in the US who pre-order the game from GameStop will get a redeemable code that will give them access to the DLC at no cost at all once it releases. The same applies to those who pre-order the game in Canada from EB Games. For everyone else, this content will cost you 720 MS points on Xbox Live and $8.99 on the PlayStation Network. Oh, and there’s a new trailer for Vergil’s Downfall as well!
Are you excited for this new DLC? Are you somewhat upset that Capcom spoiled the fact that Vergil will experience a…downfall? Resident Evil Downfall?
