Ready to enter virtual reality in your digital game about super serious depressing stuff? Well, now’s the time! Deep Silver has announced today that Metro: Last Light‘s second DLC pack will be all about killing digital dudes in a simulation. The ‘Tower Pack’ will put players into a heavily guarded tower filled with both human and mutant enemies. Each level of the tower is said to be harder than the last–as video games do.
The ‘Tower Pack’ will be releasing on September 3rd in North America across all platforms. Those who purchased the season pass can expect to have access to this content without an additional charge. Non season pass holders will have to pay $4.99.
Last Light’s upcoming ‘Developer’ and ‘Chronicle’ pack have also been detailed a bit, minus a release date. The ‘Developer Pack’ will include a shooting gallery, an AI Arena (horde mode?), a Metro museum, and a brand new solo mission featuring everyone’s favorite spider mutants.
The ‘Chronicles Pack’, which seems like the most interesting DLC to me, is single player content that reveals what supporting characters Pavel, Kahn & Ulman, and Anna were doing during Artyom’s story. Who doesn’t want to play as Kahn, the badass new-age magic believer?
