The latest trailer for The Evil Within is one filled with a lot of death. Like the last two that went over specific elements in the game, this one shows us how easy it is to accidentally die. Whether it be environmental traps, enemies, or the level design itself, players will die a lot of they don’t practice caution. Bethesda’s full blog post puts the details into word form with gif examples as well. Give that a look.
As before, the trailer reveals some previously unseen areas from the game, and man are they neat. The area I used for the header image above is one such place that looks really interesting.
The Evil Within has a lot riding on its shoulders with its claims to bring back true survival horror, and I hope it succeeds. October 14 is just around the corner, folks. Who’s excited?
