JBoc924Rise of Nightmares is quite the unique Kinect offering. It’s a full-blown survival horror title in which you have full control over your character. You’ll be going through traps, solving puzzles and engaging in combat against hordes of enemies within the confines of a madman’s castle. Yes, sounds tiring, doesn’t it? But really, that just adds to the overall immersion and sense of survival if you ask me.
Sadly, this was one of the games I didn’t get a chance to check out at this year’s E3 but I’m still keeping my eyes open for this one. It may turn out to be a sleeper hit and end up showing Capcom and Konami that their respective horror franchises can thrive with the Kinect peripheral. Check out the new trailer for the game below.
