So we’ve already gotten a good bit of info on how Capcom formulated their plan for RE7 – making the concentrated effort to return to full-blown horror, and how they began to develop the Baker family and a few of the game’s most infamous scenes. This week’s video gives us a look at how VR came up in the development process, and how cautiously implemented the technology was into the final game. We also get to hear a little bit about how Kitchen, the VR demo that initially teased RE7 (without anyone’s knowledge at the time) ended up helping to shape Resident Evil 7’s brilliant marketing.
