Alan Wake was one of the best games I played in the last generation. Its episodic narrative was highly engaging and it brought with it a very immersive setting. I’m hoping we get to see the next chapter of Alan Wake’s story someday, especially after that ending it left us with. For now, we’re going to have to settle for something else.
Remedy’s latest game is the Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break. Besides starring the dude that plays Iceman in the X-Men movie franchise, the plot set up for the game seems pretty cool. Basically, a science project at a university has gone awfully wrong — what was intended to be a time machine ended up fracturing all of time itself. The game’s story will also be tied with a live action show. But anyway, back to Alan Wake.
Judging the the tweet below, from Remedy’s Sam Lake, it looks like we’re going to get an Alan Wake Easter egg in Quantum Break. Could this be a scene where Alan’s body is found? It would be pretty awesome if both games ended up living in the same shared universe.
