Remember The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct? Don’t. That’s easier said than done though, particularly because there’s a new Walking Dead title on the horizon. The game will be “the co-op game that all of The Walking Dead fans have been waiting for,” according to a Payday 2 Steam community update. The game will be “gameplay focused (as opposed to story, I guess), ferocious and bring chaos to the traditional industry model.”
I’m going to have play mature here and reserve any further judgment on the game until we see some actual footage. The game is in development from Overkill Software and Starbreeze Studios. No platforms have been announced yet, and the game is only expected to launch in 2016, which is when Washington falls, according to the announcement trailer.
