What was first just a comic book series is now the latest entertainment sensation. The Image comic book series has successfully been adapted to the small screen, with last October’s amazing debut of the new TV series. So, obviously, we know a video game is somewhat inevitable, right?
You’re correct in thinking so, and Telltale Games will be in charge of developing a video game adaptation of the hit TV and comic book series. But we’ve known that for a little while already. But now, thanks to the series’ creator, Robert Kirkman, we now have a tiny bit more info to go by. Set to release in the last quarter of this year, The Walking Dead will be an episodic multi-platform release. It won’t be based on the TV show, though, it’ll instead be grounded in the property’s comic book world. The game is currently in its early stages of development.
