The second episode for The Walking Dead: The Final Season will hit all major gaming platforms on September 25th. Today, Telltale Games has released a trailer for the episode, and in it a ghost from the past (season 1) resurfaces.
The Walking Dead: Season One‘s Lilly returns to the series in The Final Season‘s second episode, ‘Suffer the Children.’ The grouchy and untrustworthy character appears in the latest trailer. Lilly’s return further complicates Clementine’s struggle raising an emotionally distraught AJ. The trailer also suggests Clementine is at the end of her own rope as well.
It’s fitting that the end of Clementine’s story circles back to include a character from season one given that there’s renewed critical praise for the The Final Season. I’ve yet to even play Season Three, but if buzz continues for the finale, I’ll have to jump back in.
‘Suffer the Children’ releases next week on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The digital season pass for The Walking Dead: The Final Season is $19.99; a physical retail release for Xbox One and PS4 arrives on November 6, 2018 for $29.99 and later for the Switch.
