A recent interview that was published in the Wall Street Journal revealed to the world just how much of a success Telltale’s adaption of the popular TV/comic series actually is. In the interview, Dan Connors (CEO of Telltale) stated that players have purchased more than 8.5 million episodes of the game.
It’s worth remembering that these are individual episodes we are talking about and not the whole series, if it was, then the CEO would probably have been a lot more excited about the feat. Interestingly enough, Dan also revealed that a quarter of the sales happened on mobile devices.
Let’s all hope that Telltale will use this money to make the next season even better. Or lend it to Terminal Reality to make Survival Instinct more appealing, either one would make me really happy.
