It’s been a long wait, but Telltale is finally ready to reveal the third season of their game series based on The Walking Dead. We got a Michonne miniseries recently to whet our appetite, but I think it’s about time we return to Clementine and her band of survivors. I mean… if Clementine is even returning.
Nothing’s been set in stone, but it wouldn’t be surprising if we end up playing as a new character. Personally, I want to play as Clementine again, seeing as her character growth was being shown nicely throughout seasons 1 and 2, and because of the connection I have with her as a player. But we can still see her continue to grow as a character through the lens of a new protagonist if Telltale does end up going that route.
We’ll find out on Sunday during IGN’s E3 pre-show, where Telltale will be in attendance to reveal the game (set to release later this year). Stay tuned!
