The Walking Dead: Season 3 gets official title and release window

During their panel at PAX West, Telltale Games took some time to discuss the upcoming third season of their Walking Dead series. While we still don’t have an official release date for the premiere episode, we do now have a clearer picture for when to expect the season to begin. And, to go along with that, we also have a subtitle for the season.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will begin sometime in November on home consoles, PC/Mac, and compatible mobile devices. A “season pass disc” will also be available for consoles, which, when initially purchased, will include the first episode, with the remaining four episodes being unlocked for free as they’re released.

No major story details were shared, but we did find out that the game will take place nearly four years after the outbreak. So, this maps the events of A New Frontier close to the current events of the comics (correct me if I’m wrong!). Oh, and it’s once again been reinforced that new character Javier is pretty important and not just a side character. We’ll see how his story intersects with Clementine. And don’t worry, Clementine will be playable once again.

Stay tuned for more information!
