The fourth episode in TellTale’s The Walking Dead Season 2 is almost here. Clementine and her fellow survivors will be making their return in the penultimate episode of the series beginning on July 22.
‘Amid the Ruins’ will drop on PC/Mac, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita on July 22, in North America. The following day, the episode will come to European PSN for both the PS3 and Vita, and the Xbox 360. On July 24, the episode will be made available as an in-app purchase in the iOS version of the game. TellTale also states that additional platform announcements will be revealed in the future.
The trailer for ‘Amid the Ruins’ shows that this episode will focus on increasing tensions within the group of survivors; Kenny is at the end of his rope, having survived and endured too much for one lifetime, and Rebecca seems to be going into labor. Things are no doubt going to get stressful for the group and players, and that’s what’s so amazing about this series: TellTale knows how to get players invested in their stories. I can’t wait.
