After all the drama, it seems like fans of Telltale’s The Walking Dead are finally in the home stretch. Earlier today Skybound Games, the new publisher for the series’ Final Season, announced a release date for the final episode in the series via a blog post the . The episode, in addition to a newly announced physical edition, will be launching on March 26th.
At the moment, there is no word on additional incentives to buy the physical copy, so the package seems to exist primarily for collectors or individuals who haven’t gotten in on the experience yet. That being said, Skybound games also closed their blog post hinting at a future announcement regarding the final season that the company plans to announce soon. Considering Skybound mentions their booth at the upcoming Pax East, I wouldn’t be surprised if any supposed announcements are made then.
