Back when The Last of Us: Remastered was announced, there seemed to be a bit of contention with the price. To some, $60.00 was a bit steep for a game we just bought (and loved, but still just bought) last year. It seemed that if you pre-ordered the game through the Playstation Network for the $60, you were stuck with it when the price was just lowered to $49.99, because Sony doesn’t allow refunds for PSN purchases.
However, Sony seems to be doing an about-face in the wake of a $10 price drop from retailers such as Amazon.
According to Adam Boyes, VP of Publisher and Developer Relations at Playstation, a $10 refund should be available to those who pre-ordered the game in the next few days.
@klownboots @PlayStation @Naughty_Dog @AskPlayStation @yosp you should get a $10 refund in the next 5-7 days
