The above ad was displayed on the PlayStation Store last night, supposedly allowing users to pre-order the game. Unfortunately, the actual link is broken, bringing about an error message after attempts to go through. At least we got an official price to go by now. This remastered edition will cost $59.99. I’m sure price will be a concern to some, which ended up being the same situation with the excellent current-gen edition of Tomb Raider, especially with Sony’s upcoming PlayStation Now service on the horizon.
To all you PlayStation 4 owners, will you be picking up this current-gen version of the game?
Update: The Last of Us Remastered is officially official. The following post on the PlayStation Blog details the visual upgrades, the included DLC content, and a targeted 60FPS.
