Naughty Dog has issued a patch for their emotional and brilliant title, The Last of Us. The patch tweaks some aspects of multiplayer as well as addressing some technical issues that sullied (heh) online play. As for single-player, Naughty Dog has removed an image found in the game that lists real phone sex hotline numbers. Well, if there’s one thing that can be said about Naughty Dog, it’s that they’re prone to putting themselves in awkward places when it comes to being inspired by the real world for their art assets.
The patch is currently available, so if you’re dying to giggle like a 12 year old with a PlayBoy, then avoid the patch at all costs … or download it because it’s not a big deal. Either way, The Last of Us‘ multiplayer mode has been patched for the better. Perhaps I should finally try that out; I hear it’s pretty good.
