The first episode of The Last Door‘s second season has just released on the official website and is available for anyone who donated to the project. At the same time, the final chapter of season 1 has now switched over to free to play, allowing everybody to catch up before they decide whether or not to invest.
“The Playwright” takes place in an asylum for lunatics, where the doctor of the protagonist of the first season travels to in order to discover the story behind Alexandre Du Pré, one of the protagonist’s friends who is involved in the overarching mystery. For the patient among us, the website indicates this episode will go free to play in early 2015, though I would personally wait a bit longer in case another collector’s edition comes out.
