The Intruder is back with a new look. The design and colorization shown in the recent trailer is rather different than previous trailers and videos shown. Now it’s sporting a foggy, sorta black and white monochrome look that reminds me of Mike Inel’s ‘Which‘ game. Which, haha, I’m perfectly okay with since I think it’s a very nice look. Rather than your typical dark and spooky style, there’s an eeriness that bleak whiteness with strong contrasting shadows brings. Of course, maybe they just went with that look for the trailer for dramatic effect and the actual game will look different? I’m not sure.
There were some rough patches the developer had to overcome thus things got delayed a bit, but they sound confident enough now to begin pressing forward again with the game.
