Combing surreal horror and classic point and click style gameplay, The Grandfather looks like something that might catch some attention when it officially releases. Definitely up the alley of players who like the more atmopsheric and story driven horror narratives like Lone Survivor.
Telling the story of an old man “tormented by the coldness of his wife”, and currently in pre-alpha, this demo is just to give potential players a taste of the kind of game The Grandfather will be if its IndieGoGo campaign meets its budget, with a launch set for October 3rd. I especially like the art style, it reminds me of Ben Templesmith’s (30 Days of Night, Dead Space, and Silent Hill comics) style.
