The official The Exorcist game, Legion VR, is making its way to PlayStation 4 in just ten days. The Exorcist: Legion VR puts you into the shoes and behind the coffee cup of a Boston cop investigating a series of bizarre demon-related deaths. It originally released on PC last November. The game’s first four episodes are available now on PC (with the fifth one to come), and the PSVR release will begin with the first three.
For $6.99 per chapter, or $29.99 for the complete set, you can enter a world based on one of the most iconic horror properties (download our commentary for the original film here). Regrettably, many of us on the site sat on this game as our access to VR hardware was limited … until now. I recently picked up a Vive Pro, and I’m absolutely loving it. I checked out the first episode of Legion VR last night, and although short, it was exactly why VR horror — to me — feels like the future of the genre. It was intuitive and terrifying; I can’t wait to play more. You can check out that Let’s Play here.
