Bethesda has today announced that The Evil Within will be getting a Season Pass for additional singleplayer content. Three DLC packs are planned to release after the game’s launch, and Bethesda will be selling a $19.99 Season Pass for those that wish to pay for the content at a reduced price ahead of time.
The first DLC announced is content in which players take the role of The Keeper (Boxman) through a variety of missions. I imagine his missions will involve killing people in terrible ways.
The second and third DLC packs announced follow Sebastian’s partner, Juli Kidman as she endures her own psychological horror story.
I’m not too big on DLC announced way ahead of the release of a game, nor am I too keen on ponying up cash for content that doesn’t exist yet. But if you’re fine with dropping $20 for content ahead of time, now you have a means to do so. Here’s hoping the content is worth it.
The Evil Within will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 14 in North America (October 17th in Europe).
