The Darkness 2 delayed until February

The Darkness will have to rise up from hell at a later date. 2K Games has announced that the title has been delayed until February 7th –four months shy than originally announced to release. No reason behind the delay has been given, but it’s safe to assume it’s “to make it better”.

The Darkness 2 will also be playable at the San Diego Comic-Con at booth 2629. A panel with the game and comic creators, and even the voice of The Darkness, Mike Patton will be held on July 21st. The panel will be celebrating the series’s 15th anniversary.

Sure delays suck, but I’m all for them if its to make the game as good as possible. I have high hopes for this comic-shaded sequel. We’ll be hearing The Darkness whisper in our ears soon enough. If you still hear it when you’re not playing the game, don’t worry; you’re fine.
