The Cat Lady Successor ‘Lorelai’ Releases for PC

Developer Rem Michalski has just released Lorelai, the final chapter in his highly acclaimed Devil Came Through Here adventure game trilogy, alongside The Cat Lady (2012) and Downfall (2016).

This newest title is a coming-of-age story about a young girl trying to escape the horrors of her toxic family home. Billed as a psychological thriller for adults, the horror-adventure title tasks players with guiding the titular character through the nightmares of her waking life.

Just as with his past titles, Michalski’s attention to details and characters are on full display in Lorelai, as is the moody hand-drawn art style. Anyone familiar with the look and feel of old-school adventure games like The Dig and Broken Sword will feel right at home here.

Features

  • A brand-new horror adventure with an immersive story and world in full HD
  • A dynamic mix of 2D & 3D graphics
  • An engaging soundtrack by micAmic and other guest artists
  • English voice acting
  • Xbox controller support

Developed in Unity and taking three years to complete, the conclusion to this terrifying trilogy is finally available for fans to enjoy. Lorelai is out now for PC and is available through GOG.com, Humble Bundle and Steam for $14.99. The complete “Michalski Magic Bundle” is also available on Steam for $31.11.
