The open-world horror game Grave was successfully funded last April, acquiring $37,622, but falling just short of securing a Playstation 4 port stretch goal. Development has apparently being going well since then, as it was just announced that the demo version will release today, September 12th, 2014.
We praised the game a lot during its Kickstarter campaign, particularly for the clever AI, brilliant monster design and the way light is used as a gameplay mechanic. The game later became part of the ID@Xbox program, was greenlit for a Steam release and when asked for comment on the Playstation 4 port creative director Tristan Parrish Moore said it wasn’t cancelled quite yet.
I am excited to see how much the game has grown since April, so this backers-only demo should be quite interesting.
