We recently posted that Tecmo Koei was hinting at a new entry in the Deception franchise, but it turns out this won’t be a standalone game. Instead it will be an expansion pack Deception IV: Blood Ties.
This pack will include a new storyline with a new protagonist, a girl named Vergilie the Nightmare Princess, who has been losing power lately. This is just my guess, but perhaps the story will involve her invading dreams and using traps to give people nightmares, thus restoring her power. Besides that, the game will also feature new modes, several improvements, and a healthy dose of new traps to play around with.
The pack will be called Deception IV: The Other Princess and is expected to release in Japan on March 26, 2015. Hopefully it will finds its way to the rest of the world soon afterwards.
