TGS 2020: Observer System Redux Receives New Gameplay Trailer

Observer System Redux

At the 2020 Tokyo Game Show, Blooper Team dropped a new trailer for the upcoming Observer System Redux, giving fans a glimpse of the title’s various new quests.

As a part of the “Her Fearful Symmetry” side quest, players will encounter ‘love altars’ that have been left behind by someone’s secret admirer. Of course, this behavior seems decidedly unhealthy, prompting an investigation leading to one of System Redux‘s new locations. Shortly after, the player receives a distress signal from a nearby apartment initiating the “Errant Signal” side quest. The new trailer ends with the discovery of a secret room. According to Blooper Team, these side quests seek to further explore the themes of the original game and will be seamlessly interwoven with the main plot.

For those unfamiliar with the title, Observer is a psychological horror game set in a dystopian cyberpunk world. The player assumes the role of an Observer; detectives equipped with the ability to hack into people’s minds. In the game, you’re tasked with exploring the dreams and memories of victims to track down a serial killer on the loose.

Observer System Redux is an enhanced edition boasting upgraded visuals in addition to new gameplay features and the three new quests (including the two aforementioned quests). Observer System Redux is set to launch on November 10th for the Xbox Series X, and Steam, and on November 12th for the PlayStation 5.
