It seems everyone’s gearing up for Halloween and the homage to the 16-bit generation, Terraria, is no exception. Update 1.2.1.1 will fix a number of issues while adding a Halloween event where enemies drop goody bags, and a Pumpkin Moon Event can be triggered in hard mode. The Pumpkin Moon Event will feature waves of increasingly difficult baddies with better loot as you proceed and is sure to be a blast. If you’re thinking “What fun is all this for just one night a year?” you’re in luck, because this event isn’t ending until November 10th. Enjoy.
