Techland recently took to Twitch to show off their upcoming Dying Light expansion, The Following. Set after the events of the main game, Dying Light‘s next chapter follows Kyle Crane (no longer performed by Roger Craig Smith) to a whole new city with vast fields ripe for off-road exploration.
The stream covers 15 minutes of gameplay from the DLC’s ‘The Trust Is Out There’ mission where Kyle learns about his new surroundings and a mysterious cult. The gameplay overview reveals that the DLC is aiming for 10 hours of additional play minus side-missions. The Following has no release date quiet yet, but it’s looking pretty good. Additional game tidbits are revealed by Techland stream hosts Pawel Modlinski and Maciej Binkowski.
Techland is most certainly adding a bit more Farcry DNA to Dying Light, and the results are exciting.
