OtherSide Entertainment has presented a new trailer for the long-awaited System Shock sequel System Shock 3, an action horror-adventure based on one of the most mythical sagas in the video game industry. Not much has been said about the game since the first preview released last March, which you can see here. Finally, though, the team has released a gameplay video that allows players to revel in the graphics and pre-alpha content.
In System Shock 3, you will once again face the fearsome artificial intelligence of SHODAN, the Sentient Hyper-Optimized Data Access Network. Warren Spector, the designer of the first game, and others from Deus Ex are also working on the title. The game promises to respect the essence of its predecessors without losing the opportunity to surprise fans, and will again offer a cyberpunk futuristic setting as we continue the adventure. The game will feature some difficult puzzles and terrifying situations and promises absolute maximum tension. The creators of System Shock 3 also announced that Citadel Station would be very different in the new title, giving priority once again to freedom of action for fans to face the fight as they prefer.
System Shock 3 isn’t the only game in the series keeping players on the edge of their seats. The original game in the series, System Shock, is getting a ful rebuild by the team at NightDive Studios. System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition has also been announced, meaning that players will soon be able to enjoy all three games in the series on modern machines.
While System Shock 3 was announced in December 2015, it still has no estimated release date. When it does release, players can enjoy the action on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
