System Shock 2 now compatible with Linux

SHODAN does not discriminate based on operating systems, so those dedicated open-source fans among you can now finally play this classic sci-fi horror title on your Linux machines.

This was announced yesterday on the game’s Steam Store page, but doesn’t seem to affect the version available at Good Old Games. The Linux version of the game will work on versions newer than Ubuntu 12.04, but apparently has limited support for laptop users.
