After teasing fans for what feels like years, Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture have finally released a trailer for their upcoming Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 title Killer is Dead. With a gorgeous art style reminiscent of Killer 7, 3rd person brawling gameplay similar to that of No More Heroes and Lolipop Chainsaw, 3rd person shooting mechanics like Shadows of the Damned, and finally over the top and straight up wacky looking characters like… Well ALL of Suda 51’s games! Killer is Dead almost gives of the impression that this game is the culmination of all Suda’s games from this console generation.
At the end of the trailer, a tentative release of “2013 Summer” flashes across the screen. One has to wonder, is this is just for the Japanese release of the game, or for North American regions as well? Either way, we couldn’t be more excited to see how this title turns out.
