The mic-activated horror game by Singaporean studio Gattai Games has been pushed back from its December 13th release date. The team has committed to release the game sometime in 2017, because they were not happy with releasing a game that was “good enough”.
“Earlier last month, we announced a 13th December launch date for Stifled, and even though we are on track to hitting that date with a game that is “good enough”, the team sat down and asked ourselves honestly if we were ok with “good enough”, wrote Gattai Games on their Facebook page. “The short answer, no.”
The team will take the time to polish Stifled further to make it a better experience. As they say, a delayed game has the potential to be better for it. If you haven’t seen much on Stifled, watch my playthrough of the demo below.
