Undead Labs has announced today that State of Decay has sold 550,000 copies and is currently the fastest-selling original game on Xbox Live Arcade, having been released just over one week ago. All things considered, that’s pretty impressive.
In an interview with Xbox Wire, Jeff Strain, founder and executive producer at Undead Labs, revealed that a PC version of the game had been developed alongside the Xbox 360 version from the beginning. Currently, the team is working on integrating the game with the Steam platform and adding native support for keyboard and mouse control.
Also announced was a pure Sandbox mode. The fans asked for it, and Undead Labs plans to deliver. As with the PC edition, the release date for the sandbox mode has not yet been revealed.
