Undead Labs has just announced that the early access version of State of Decay will release on Steam tomorrow! The PC version of the XBLA zombie survival sim will be sold at $20 on Steam and require the use of an Xbox 360 controller due to the game still being in a testing face. Mouse and keyboard support will be patched in down the line. Purchases made now will of course unlock and be updated into the final, complete version when that time comes.
For now, players will have to endure a few technical hiccups. But the good news is that this pretty interesting game will now be playable on PC in 24 hours! I’ve been waiting to get my hands on this version of the game after reviewing the Xbox version, because the framerate will hopefully be loads better, making the game that much more enjoyable.
