Did you think Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army was a one-time spin-off? Well, you were completely wrong!
Rebellion, the studio responsible for interesting games like NeverDead and, indeed, the Sniper Elite franchise has announced on their blog that a sequel to Nazi Zombie Army is in development. The original game was released earlier this year and had players backtrack through the campaign of Sniper Elite V2, but with all the Nazi soldiers replaced by slightly more (un)dead versions of themselves. It wasn’t particularly groundbreaking or particularly well-designed, but it made for some pretty solid co-op entertainment. I personally gave it a 6/10 in my review of the game and I can still recommend it if you happen to have some friends over.
Rebellion intends to release the game this year and is also targeting consoles this time around, specifically the next generation. Stay tuned for more news!
