Slitterhead: Bokeh Game Studio Unveils New Characters and Gameplay

SlitterheadBokeh Game Studio, led by renowned developer Keiichiro Toyama, has just revealed a host of new content for their upcoming game Slitterhead, set to launch on November 8th. Fans can look forward to new characters, stages, and gameplay mechanics that promise to elevate the action-horror experience.

Among the new characters introduced are Anita and Edo, each bringing unique abilities to the fight against the terrifying Slitterheads, monsters that mimic human forms. Doni, an ordinary high school student, and Tri, a housekeeper with a knack for uncovering secrets, also join the roster.

Yin Yue, one of the leaders of the mysterious “Echoes of Love Society,” brings martial arts expertise and commands respect from his followers.

Players will encounter combat challenges that require strategic use of skills like Doni’s “Fatal Lance” and Tri’s “Sentry Thorns,” designed to take down enemies in creative ways. Additionally, the game introduces new mechanics such as “Blood Jump” and “Severed Arm,” adding layers of complexity to the intense battles against the Slitterheads.

 

The newly revealed Echoes of Love Society stage serves as the base of a secretive organization located in the mountains, home to a group of outcasts and undocumented individuals. Players will navigate this setting as they uncover the dark secrets behind the society and its enigmatic leader.

Slitterhead will be priced at $49.99 for the digital edition, with a physical PlayStation 5 Day 1 Edition available for $59.99. The special edition includes a physical copy of the game, a soundtrack by acclaimed composer Akira Yamaoka, an artbook, and other collectibles.

The game will be available November 8th on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Epic Games Store and Steam.
