2018 came and went like a terrifying flash flood. This year we were treated to some incredible video games across all major platforms, offering unique experiences for just about everyone. As we wrap up and move into 2019, we’re looking back at our own favorite genre for our 2018 Game of the Year. After internal discussions and votes based on our own favorite titles, the Rely on Horror staff is excited to announce today our four 2018 Game of the Year Nominees. Here’s the list below (in no particular order):
- Call of Cthulhu – Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive
- The Missing – White Owls and Arc System Works
- Remothered: Tormented Fathers – Stormind Games and Darril Arts
- Vampyr – Dontnod Entertainment and Focus Home Interactive

We’ll announce our 2018 Game of the Year and the Rely on Horror Community Game of The Year on December 31st.
